The Maria Janer school has received around 15 transfer requests from parents, many of them from 3rd-year ESO students. In recent years, dissatisfaction has grown among families at Lycée Comte de Foix due to limited academic pathways, lack of support for special needs, bullying, and a growing disconnect between the school and vulnerable students.
