语言政策部门负责人 Joan Sans 表示：“自《本国语言与官方语言法》生效以来，为满足居留许可续签所设定的语言要求，报考人数较往年明显增长。事实上，与 2024 年相比，A1 级别报名人数增长了 88%，A2 级别增长了 80%，增幅尤为显著。”
在本次考试安排中，已完成 A1、B1、B2 和 C1 级别的考试，而 A2 级别 的考试将于 2 月 6 日 举行。相关部门表示，此类分批组织方式旨在应对不断增长的报考需求，并确保为所有考生提供 充分且有序的考试服务。
A1 and B2 Levels Lead Participation in Official Catalan Exams
Nearly 1,000 candidates sat the official Catalan language examinations administered by the Government of Andorra over the past weekend. The exams were held on Friday and Saturday at the Andorran Secondary School of Santa Coloma and recorded one of the highest participation rates in recent years.
A total of 930 candidates registered for this session, representing an increase of almost 200 participants compared with the January 2024 examination session. The A1 and B2 levels attracted the largest number of candidates and accounted for a significant share of total registrations. Specifically, 226 candidates took the A1 exam, 160 the A2, 146 the B1, 272 the B2, and 125 the C1 level.
The Department of Language Policy has issued a positive assessment of the figures, noting that they reflect a growing interest in obtaining official certification of Catalan language proficiency.
According to Joan Sans, Director of the Department of Language Policy, “Since the entry into force of the law on Andorra’s own and official language, we have observed a clear increase in registrations compared with previous years, driven by the language requirements linked to the renewal of residence permits. In fact, compared with 2024, registrations for the A1 level increased by 88%, while A2 registrations rose by 80%.”
In this examination session, candidates sat tests for the A1, B1, B2, and C1 levels, while the A2-level examinations are scheduled to take place on 6 February. This staggered organization responds to the growing demand and aims to ensure adequate conditions and attention for all candidates.
Les niveaux A1 et B2 en tête de la participation aux examens officiels de catalan
Près de 1 000 candidats ont participé ce week-end aux examens officiels de langue catalane délivrant une certification du Gouvernement d’Andorre. Les épreuves se sont déroulées vendredi et samedi à l’École andorrane de seconde enseignement de Santa Coloma et ont enregistré l’une des participations les plus élevées de ces dernières années.
Au total, 930 candidats se sont inscrits à cette session, soit une augmentation de près de 200 personnes par rapport à la session de janvier 2024. Les niveaux A1 et B2 ont concentré le plus grand nombre de candidats et représentent une part importante de l’ensemble des inscriptions. Dans le détail, 226 personnes ont passé le niveau A1, 160 le niveau A2, 146 le niveau B1, 272 le niveau B2 et 125 le niveau C1.
Le Département de la politique linguistique dresse une évaluation positive de ces données, estimant qu’elles traduisent un intérêt croissant pour la certification officielle des compétences en catalan.
Selon Joan Sans, directeur du Département de la politique linguistique, « depuis l’entrée en vigueur de la loi sur la langue propre et officielle, nous avons constaté une hausse significative des inscriptions par rapport aux années précédentes, en raison des exigences linguistiques liées au renouvellement des permis de résidence. En comparaison avec 2024, le nombre d’inscrits au niveau A1 a augmenté de 88 %, et celui du niveau A2 de 80 % ».
Lors de cette session, les candidats ont été examinés aux niveaux A1, B1, B2 et C1, tandis que les épreuves du niveau A2 auront lieu le 6 février prochain. Cette organisation échelonnée vise à répondre à l’augmentation de la demande et à garantir des conditions d’examen adaptées pour l’ensemble des candidats.
